Parks & Site Seeing
The Coast Mountain Range is the backdrop for a variety of parks and site seeing opportunities in Whistler and Pemberton. Several Provincial Parks and camp grounds, with easy access to both communities, provide access to a wide variety of outdoor facilities such as boating, walking & hiking trails, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, boat launches for power boating, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, site seeing, playground, and much more. The two largest local parks include Garibaldi and Stein Valley. The Stein Valley holds significant importance the local First Nations communities.
WHISTLER
Whistler lies central to Garibaldi, Callaghan Lake, Blackcomb Glacier, and Brandywine Provincial Parks. Explore the hiking and walking trails alone or with a local guide.
PEMBERTON
The Pemberton Valley hosts the Upper Lillooet, Birkenhead Lake, Joffre and Duffey Lake Provincial Parks. Go for a soak in the Meagher Creek Hot Springs in the north western section of the Pemberton Valley or visit the popular Nairn Falls located just minutes south of the Village of Pemberton.
