The Whistler
Film Festival takes place in beautiful Whistler, British Columbia
from November 30, 2011, to December 4, 2011.
The Whistler Film Festival presents films from Canada and all
around the world. Premiers, from North Americas top
directors, as well as feature films, documentaries, and shorts, in
all over eighty films, are presented at the festival.
Over sixty percent of the films presented are Canadian made films. Most of the films are unrated and one must be eighteen years or over to attend. Over $50,000 in prizes are awarded to film makers, actors, and other film industry participants in nine major categories.
