Nimby Fifty is an epic mountain bike race
covering many of the world-class single track trails, climbs and
descents that Pemberton, BC is famous for.
The race is hosted on Saturday May 28, 2011. So 3 weeks before
"The Test of Metal" in Squamish.The race runs late enough in Spring
to ensure the trails are candy sweet.
The venue? In beautiful, picturesque Pemberton located just 2
hours from Vancouver / 25 minutes North of Whistler. Why? Because
we all love a little pain and fun right?
The race is approximately 35 km in length, boasting a lung busting 101 switchback long pristine single-track climb. You get'n the picture? This ain't your typical XC race. The Nimby Fifty is what we refer to as a technical marathon xc bike race which means it is absolutely loaded with incredible single track.
