The Kokanee Crankworx festival is held over 10 days from August 10
to 19.
Today is the Garbanzo DH event, which is also known as a 'vertical marathon'. This downhill race follows some of the toughest terrain in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Riders follow this epic 12km trail and the crowds will be waiting at the bottom of Whistler Mountain to see who will be this year's winner.
