It's a winter sports enthusiast's ideal event; watch as Olympic and World Championship medallists go head to head in Whistler's world class nordic venues with athletes competing in events including Biathlon, Cross-Country Ski Racing and Ski Jumping.

Biathlon Nationals
March 15 - 20, 2013
Biathlon races combine cross country skiing with several rounds of rifle marksmanship. Competitors alternate skiing around a predetermined route with rounds of target shooting. The aim is to ski fast and shoot straight. - Whistler.com 

Haywood Ski Nationals
March 23 - 30, 2013
The 2013 Cross Country Ski Nationals are being hosted at Whistler Olympic Park, home of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.The Haywood Ski Nationals are the preeminent cross country ski event on the National calendar. The event attracts the best age group skiers from across Canada and includes approximately 500 skiers competing in up to 5 competitions over an eight day period. - Whistler.com

Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Nationals

Nordic Skiing in Pemberton

Popular cross country skiing trails in the Pemberton Area are at the Nairn Falls Campground.  The trails at Nairn Falls are maintained by volunteers at the Spud Valley Nordic Club.  Other popular areas include the trails at the north end of the Pemberton Meadows Road.
