Pemberton Valley Lodge is proud to
be an official accommodations provider for the Canadian Paragliding
National Championships.
The Canadian Paragliding National Championships take place this August 5 through 12, 2012. The competition will rank under the national 'A' level competition for the purpose of the Canadian Paragliding rankings.
The purpose of the week is to bring together paragliders from all over Canada and elsewhere for a friendly week of competition and events. Pilots of all levels are welcome to ascend on the beautiful Pemberton Valley for a weekend of fun and competition.
Over 100 paragliders are expected to compete in this year's competition competing in various flying tasks in order to gain points with most judging criteria based on how long a pilot is able to stay in the air.
