The beautiful Pemberton valley offers
endless opportunities for air activities including gliding,
paragliding, sky diving, heli tours and the infamous 19th
hole. Pemberton is fortunate enough to have its own
airport.
The Pemberton Airport date back to the 1970's when it was
started as a base for the Pemberton Flying Club. Today, the
airport sees over 400 landings a year. The runway is long enough to
handle small commuter sized planes and private jets. There are
presently no scheduled flights into Pemberton. Visit the Village of

Pemberton Soaring & Gliding
If you are looking for a unique adventure in Pemberton, then you
have try to soaring! The Pemberton Soaring Centre is open 7 days a
week from mid April to early October and is located at the
Pemberton Airport. There are number of different scenic and
aerobatic tours available as well as glider rentals and glider
pilot training. Tours start at just $97 per person for a scenic
valley flight and up to $245 for a glacier flight. Enjoy the
incredible views of mountain peaks, glaciers and lush valleys as

Whistler Skydiving
Go skydiving in one of the most scenic valleys in the
World! Whistler Skydiving offers tandem skydiving and this the
best way to experience your first jump. A tandem skydive with one
of Whistler Skydiving professionals costs just $270. You should
allow about half day for your skydiving adventure which will
include training, preparation, the aircraft ride, jump and video

Paragliding In
Pemberton
Pemberton has become a well know destination for
paragliding. In August 2012, Pemberton will be hosting the
Canadian Paragliding Nationals from August 5 to 12.
The Pemberton valley offers one of the most pure and beautiful
valleys in the world. Cayoosh Expeditions offer
paragliding tandem flights and guided tours.
Whistler Heli Tours
Blackcomb Aviation offers a number
of tours from the Whistler Heliport which is just a short 20
minute drive south of Pemberton. Sightseeing, glacier walks, heli
skiing, heli golfing, alpine walks, alpine picnics and custom tours
are all available.
The 19th Hole
You may be wandering what a 19th hole has to do with
air activities in Pemberton? Big Sky Golf and Country
Club and Blackcomb Aviation have teamed up to offer you the
most unique golf experience you will ever have! You and your
party will be transported by helicopter to the top of Mount Currie
which overlooks the golf course.
