The Pemberton Valley offers endless options for horseback riding. Pemberton is horse country with more horses per capita than any other area in British Columbia. The area offers wonderful horseback riding trails ranging from gentle trails along the banks of the Lillooet River to mountain trails to Tenquille Lake.
Guided horseback tours are available for all ability levels and ages and range from 1 hour to multi day adventures. A horseback riding tour is a must do during your vacation to Pemberton.
Located just 2km from north of the Pemberton Valley Lodge is the Adventure Ranch. The Adventure Ranch is one the original horseback operations in the area. All tours are 2 hours long and you will ride alongside the beautiful Lillooet River and surrounding mountains. Tours are available from mid May to mid Septembers. The Pemberton Stables are conveniently located just 2km west of Pemberton. They specialize in 1 to 3 hour trail rides and also offer pony rides for children. Copper Cayuse Outfitters offers back country horseback guiding in Pemberton and the surrounding areas. This is a great option if you are looking for multi day mountain backcountry rides. They specialize in tours to the Birkenhead/Tenquille lake area. On the multi days tours guests can choose to sleep in a tent, on the ground, or in a bed at the lodge.
