Everyone's A Local During the Barn Burner Triple Running Race - Sep 17, 2016
Date: Saturday, September 17, 2016
Where: Throughout Pemberton
Admission: Various Price Points
Pemberton's favorite running race the Barn Burner Triple
returns this September 17, 2016. Pemberton's backcountry
trails have long been hailed for their amazing mountain biking and
hiking conditions but local trail runners are no stranger to their
fun factor either. So last year organizers went about hosting the
first ever large scale running event in Pemberton.
The goal is to create a fun and challenging race with a grass
roots feel. We love sharing Pemberton's beautiful mountain scapes,
small town charm and mellow vibes with visiting and local runners
Runners can choose between three distances including 10
km, 15 km or 25 km. The event can be run by oneself or as
part of a 3 lap team relay. Laps begin at the Downtown Barn in the
Pemberton Village and wind their way through the One Mile Lake
trail system. The race involves a short pavement section followed
by winding single track trails through the Pemberton mountains.
Following the race there will be an after party/awards ceremony.
Contestants can swig down a couple of complimentary brews while
mingling with their fellow competitors.
