Whether you work as a graffiti artist, landscape painter or
sculpture, State of the Art welcomes all aspects of the art scene
for a week long exhibition held at the Whistler Conference Centre.
Many of the creations are inspired by the local mountain culture
but anything goes at this amazing celebration of life and art.
There is no entry fee, guests can stroll around the Grand Foyer
of the Whistler Conference Centre, talk to the artists and even
purchase your favourite piece.

This one of a kind film making showcase strips the essence of
filming and editing down to the bare bones. Participants are tasked
with filming, editing and producing a 3 - 5 minute short film
within a 100km radius of Whistler over the course of 72 hours.
Film makers must rely on originality, craft, speed and
endurance. Favours must be called in and coffee must be on stand by
in order to take your vision from concept to reality.
At the conclusion of the film edit, filmmakers will have the
chance to screen their masterpiece in front of 1500+ people at the
Whistler Conference Centre. An expert panel of judges will be on
hand out over $10'000 in prize money, including the always coveted

Film crews are tasked with filming and editing a 5 - 7 minute
ski/snowboard film that incorporates artistic vision and whole lot
of shredding. The catch! Filmmakers only have 7 days to shoot, edit
and produce the film + it must be shot within 100km of Whistler and
must feature 30 seconds of park footage and 30 seconds of WB
A crowd of 1500+ strong will pack the Whistler Conference Centre
to take in the nights footage! A grand prize of $10,000 will be
awarded to the Best of Show as decided by a panel of expert judges.

Keys N Krates & Pham | FIDO Free Outdoor Concert
It's Friday night in the village, time to bring out the DJ's.
Keys N Krates, are a Canadian EDM duo that rose to fame a couple
years back with their song "Dum Dee Dum". Well they didn't stop
there, they've been putting out quality dance music on the regular
along with some great music videos. If you want to get the party
started on Friday, make your way the the Skier's Plaza where there
is sure to be a massive dance party going on.
Silent Disco Party
Where: Garibaldi Lift Co. (GLC) When: 9 PM
Pick your soundtrack during the Silent Disco Party at the GLC.
Upon entry you will be supplied with a pair of headphones, when you
hit the dance floor choose between three DJs playing on three
different channels. Switch it up, mix it up and keep on grooving
all night long.
