Whistler's ultra popular obstacle marathon series
returns this June 17 - 18 to Whistler Olympic Park.
Participants of Tough Mudder must utilize their physical and mental
strength to complete a 16 - 20 KM course littered with 20 + unique
challenges / obstacles.
You can run the event solo, but the idea behind the race is
getting together with a group of friends or workmates to tackle the
Tough Mudder is famous for the various obstacles found
throughout each course. While obstacles change from year
to year expect some original staples such as the ice bear plunge,
electric shock therapy, climbing tower and more.
New to this year's event is the incorporation of the
Toughest Mudder and Tough Mudder Half.
Toughest Mudder is for extreme athletes who want to push their
body to the limit. Participants start at 12 PM midnight and run two
unique 8 KM circuits for 8 hours straight. Most of the event is run
in the dark. It also serves as the only Toughest Mudder event held
in Canada, and a qualifier for the World's Toughest Mudder.
Tough Mudder Half
Just think half a Tough Mudder and you get the Tough Mudder
Half. This event is simply a scaled down version of the original
Tough Mudder with half the KM's and half the obstacles. The minimum
age for the Tough Mudder Half is 14 years old making it inclusive
