The Fourth Annual Dining for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Dinner is set to take place on Saturday, May 4. The
event is held to create awareness around Duchenne Muscular
Dystrophy and to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
The event is hosted by long time Pemberton resident Alexander
McCormack along with his family and friends. Alexander is
particularly dedicated to this cause as he himself is a young man
who lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Alexander just turned
30 years old which is a milestone for a person with this
diagnosis!
This year's event will include a dinner and silent auction at
Riverlands Red Barn. Tickets for the event are
available for $50 or two for $90 and can be purchased at Pemberton
Valley Chainsaw and Westland Insurance.
For more information on this event, or if you are a local
business that would like to donate to the Silent Auction please
contact Susie McCormack 604-966-8468 or Tanya Niet
