The Pemberton Valley Lodge has been nominated for Best Green Business. The Pemberton Valley Lodge has been awarded 4 Keys with the Green Key Program in recognition of our Earth friendly initiatives.
The Pemberton Valley Lodge is the 5th hotel in Canada and the 1st in the Sea to Sky Corridor of British Columbia to join the Clean the World program. This program helps prevent unnecessary death around the world in impoverished communities and homeless shelters. The communities are given the simplest tool to health, soap. Used soap is recycled from the guest rooms, which is then sterilize shipped around the world.
Best Community Impact
The Pemberton Valley Lodge has been nominated for Best Community Impact. The Pemberton Valley Lodge is located in a rural community of varying landscape from historic Native American dug out sites to potato farms. The Pemberton Valley Lodge is proud to be at the heart of the community. We are the hotels where the locals send their family to stay and we also hold a strong sense of community in our actions. The Pemberton Valley Lodge takes an active role in Earth Day with our staff. We also partake in clearing the village of garbage and planting trees to show an example of pride in our community.
We are proud to support a local non profit organization, Pemberton Animal Well Being Society (PAWS). PAWS assists with ending animal cruelty as well as re-homing pets. The Pemberton Valley Lodge is a pet friendly hotel with a fee of $45 per stay. A majority of that fee gets donated back to PAWS. The Pemberton Valley Lodge believes that we have a lot to give and we are community minded and community involved.
