5 Great Outdoor Winter Activities

The Pemberton Valley and surrounding mountains offer incredible winter activity opportunities.  Pemberton is a world famous snowmobiling destination with the Pemberton Ice Cap offering some of the best snowmobiling in British Columbia. 

The lakes and rivers offer great winter fishing with an abundance of fish.  Other popular winter pursuits include back country skiing off the Duffey Lake road area, heliskiing and cross country skiing.

1. Pemberton Snowmobiling

2. Pemberton Heli Skiing and Boarding

3. Pemberton Ice Fishing

4. Pemberton Cross Country Skiing

The Nairn Falls Campground just south of Pemberton offers ski trails for both classic and skate skiing.  There is no charge to use the trails and the trails are groomed by volunteers all season.  Other cross country ski trails are available up the Pemberton Meadows Road.

5. Pemberton Back Country Skiing
