As the old poem goes....."Spring has sprung, the grass has riz, I wonder where the birdies is?". After a long, cold winter, spring has finally arrived in Pemberton and the birdies are now rolling in. While Whistler courses are still under half a foot of snow, just 25 minutes north, a new golfing season is underway at Big Sky Golf and Country Club. Our annual opening day charity tournament on Thursday April 21st raised over $5,000 for Lupis and Arthritis. While some of the bunkers still had a bit of snow in them (which we are now calling "white sand"), it didn't seem to bother the 200 golfers who showed up to play under sunny skies and 3 juvenile eagles soaring overhead"
