The Gingerbread Project Returns for Christmas 2012
It's that magical time of the year again; snow is starting to fall, the goodies are coming out, and some have already started their Holidays countdown. It also means it is time for our favourite event of the year, the Gingerbread Project.
We are asking businesses to submit their fabulously-built gingerbread creations to be displayed in the Lodge. We're looking for ultimate creativity… think outside the house! Is it a gingerbread car? A gingerbread town? We are open to gingerbread-y goodness, how you choose to express your inner crafting is up to you.
For a Cause
Entrance to the Gingerbread Project is free for everyone, we just ask when you come in and see all the wonderful gingerbread creations, that you bring a non-perishable food item to place into the food bank.
Do you want to enter the Gingerbread Project? To submit your gingerbread creation, bring it to the Lodge no later than 7:00 PM on December 9, 2012, and a $5.00 entry fee. We would also love it if you could bring a food item for the Food Bank. All donations and bids will be donated to the local Food Bank and Sea to Sky Community Services. We are working with the Pemberton Scotiabank and Question newspaper to bring a happy holidays to everyone in Pemberton.
The winner for best gingerbread display will receive one-night accommodation at Pemberton Valley Lodge and two tickets to see the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra play in Vancouver! So download the Gingerbread Project poster and share it with your friends and family, and let's get as many businesses as possible to enter the Gingerbread Project.
