Perfect Weather & Great Snow in Pemberton & Whistler

My favorite aspect of the mountains in the Winter is that there are usually two types of days. The snow day, with lots of powder - and everybody loves powder. And the bluebird day, where visibility is infinite, and if we're lucky... there's enough snow left over and it's not too icy.

Luckily, we've seen lots of both of these days recently, and not much of the in-between sort!

Whistler

Whistler has been receiving a great amount of snowfall since the start of the season. They are still the best North American mountain to visit right now with the most snow. With over 719 cm of total cumulative snowfall, and all runs open, Whistler is waiting to be carved up by your skis and snowboards!

Skiing Whistler / Blackcomb is an experience not to be missed. With thousands of acres of skiable terrain... it's one of the worlds best resorts. The great thing about Pemberton is that we don't have the crowds of a big ski hill, this means most of our snow remains pure, untouched powder! On a sunny day, you've got the best of both worlds. Sun and Pow!

Snowmobiling is one of the best ways to experience the great valleys and peaks of Pemberton on a lovely sunny day. It doesn't require much effort - you have a powerful engine to push you around, and it's great for covering lots of ground quickly

Backcountry Skiing takes some effort, but is well worth it with the rewards that await you upon completion of your summit. "earn your turns" as they say.
