Whistler Bike Park Opens

Get your wheels ready the Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Bike Park is set to open this Friday, May 17. Bikers should be in for an amazing opening day as the recent hot weather has allowed a record number of trails to be ready for opening day.
Bike Park manager Brian Finestone recently posted, "Our goal is to open with a record number of trails on the first day of operations to give you folks the best kick off riding ever! I won't list all of what will be open but you can count on the favorites being ready to roll. It is looking like most of the singletrack is good to go, A-line, B-Line, Crank-it-Up, Ninja Cougar, Karate Monkey and even Crabapple Hits! The ultimate goal is to have Dirt Merchant for day one."
The park will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM on opening day. These hours will also serve as the daily operation hour's until June 14th when summer hours start to kick-in.
