Hike Nairn Falls
Nairn Falls is a provincial park located a few minutes outside of the Pemberton Village. The main draw of the park is the spectacular double waterfalls you can get to after a short hike.
You can drive, walk or bike to Nairn Falls from Pemberton. The falls are only a 2-minute drive from the Lodge. There is also a back trail that cuts through a forested area that takes about 35 minutes to walk.
Once you get to the parking lot simply follow the signs that lead you to the Nairn Waterfalls. The hike takes about 20 minutes along a single track trail. The trail is a fairly easy hike but depending on the conditions can be somewhat slippery in some areas. Because the trail runs along the Green River it's always important to keep an eye on young children to make sure they don't sway too far away.
After you have arrived at the falls there are a number of fenced off areas and platforms to view the falls from. Remember to bring your camera to document the amazing force of the falls.
If you need more information on the falls or the hiking trail to get to the falls don't hesitate to ask the front desk at the Pemberton Valley Lodge for help. The local staff loves to share information on local hiking trails and activities.
