Snowmobiling in Pemberton and Whistler
Pemberton is an Athlete's Winter Wonderland
It's winter and Pemberton as usual plays host to a wonderland of activities. It's no wonder so many world class athletes make their home here. We are a literal hub for so many sports, and snowmobiling is one of them.
Whether you want to head out on the trails in Whistler and Pemberton on your own or with a guide, this area has everything you need to have the time of your life. And don't forget, snowmobiling is also a great way to have access to amazing snowboarding and skiing.
Pemberton Valley Lodge is Snowmobile Friendly
If you're considering coming to Pemberton to snowmobile, you'll be happy to know that the Pemberton Valley Lodge is considered a "snowmobile friendly" hotel by the Pemberton Valley Snowmobile Club. We welcome guests with their sleds and encourage you to make the most of this area.
Don't Have a Sled but Want To Try?
If you're curious, but don't have a snowmobile of your own, nearby Whistler has Canadian Wilderness Adventures Ltd. which will provide you with everything you need to get started and have the adventure of a lifetime.
Snowmobiling Can Be Affordable
Prices vary, but can be quite affordable for families. A three-hour tour with Canadian Wilderness Adventures costs $159 single and $125 per person sharing. That is already not a bad per hour rate, at about $40 per person (based on the 2 person rate). If you are travelling with your family and are considering this as a family adventure, it helps to know that kids 6-12 years ride free with paying adult. Families come in all shapes and sizes, but 2 adults and 2 kids would then make the per person price about $20 per hour each. An affordable special event, for sure. And while you're out there, you will be touring in some of the best snowmobiling trails in western Canada. The Pemberton Ice Cap and the Pemberton Ice Fields are some of the best snowmobiling areas you will find.
