Fly Fishing the Birken Head River
The boys over at Pemberton Fish Finder have released a very cool video of them fishing the Birken Head River. Looks like the boys were enjoying a nice sunny day fly fishing on the river. The video was shot by a drone camera and provides some very cool shots of the trip from beginning to end. Production was done by Owl Vision Films and is full of amazing views of the Pemberton landscape and sweeping shots of the Birken Head River. Check it out below.
Current Fishing Conditions
We recently talked to Brad Knowles over at Pemberton Fish Finder and got a quick update on current the current Pemberton fishing conditions.
'Right now the Birkenhead river is full of coho salmon and the trout fishing has been good. All of the small lakes surrounding the area are still free of ice. Trout are feeding heavily in anticipation of a long cold winter. Anderson and Birkenhead lake have good kokanee fishing right now. The large bull trout are back in the lakes after a successful spawning season and are putting weight back on.'
