On Sunday was the dog competition at the Pemberton Community Centre followed a Monday full of "Western wear shopping."
Canada Day is HUGE Pemberton Tradition!
On Canada Day, Tuesday, July 1stthe town was buzzing with excitement! The day started off with the Spud Run followed by the parade, which brought the community together on Portage Avenue to cheer on the participants and our great nation. The streets were lined with people wearing red and white, waving Canada's flag proudly. After the parade the community gathered at the Pemberton Community Centre for live music, a farmer's market, food, laughs and celebration! The weather was really hot so the water park was filled with laughing children and everyone was having a great time! Check out these pictures from the parade:
