The farm to table dining series makes its return to North Arm Farm this Saturday. Hosted by Araxi Whistler the event focuses on bringing fresh ingredients from within a 100km radius from farm to plate. Araxi and North Arm Farm have a special relationship as the farm provides much of the fresh produce the Whistler restaurant uses.
During the event renowned chef James Walt and his staff will prepare a 4 course meal to be served outdoors at the base of Mount Currie Mountain. All 4 courses will be paired with BC wines by Araxi wine director Samantha Rahn.
This event always sells out so make sure to book your tickets today! To grab tickets for the event call Araxi Restaurant at 604 932 4540. For more information on the Long Table Series head on over to the Araxi website.

Pemberton Slow Food Cycle
Pemberton's favorite annual summer event is back for its 10th year as the Slow Food Cycle takes over town this Sunday. The event attracts some 4000 participants who spend the day cycling up the Pemberton Meadows in search of fresh produce, poultry and goodies.
The event started as a conversation between local farmer's looking to connect the local community and people abroad with where their food actually came from. During the event participants get the chance to stop in and chat, look, buy and connect with the people that grow their food. It also encourages people to buy local and promote sustainable farming.
Grab your bike and check out the Slow Food Cycle this Sunday. Tickets for this year's event are $5 per person or $20 per family. When you pre-register for the event you will receive a FREE SFCS tote bag and you'll be able to skip the day of registration line ups. For more information on this event including how to pre-register check out the Slow Food Cycle website.
