Take a Sled Tour
If you don't have your own gear or you're new to the area the best way to experience sledding is through a touring service. There are several touring companies in Pemberton that offer this service. These companies provide custom-made packages for sledders of all levels. Services include half day, full day and overnight tours to several of Pemberton's best sledding spots. Snowmobiles, snowsuits, and food are all included these packages. Of course, if you have your own sled and only require touring that can be arranged as well. Some of the Hot Spots
The Pemberton Ice Fields
The Pemberton Ice Fields offer wide open, treeless riding. When you arrive at the Ice Field you will encounter an enormous play area for you and your sled to open up. This wide open ride is kind of like cruising on top of a snowy pillow top for thousands of kilometers. The Ice Fields are the most popular ride in the area and offer some of the most spectacular views you can find on a sled. The pic above doesn't do the area justice.
The Hurley to Bralorne
If you're looking for a more leisurely ride then the always popular Bralorne day trip is a terrific option. During the trip, riders will take the old logging roads from the Pemberton Valley to the old gold mining community of Bralorne. Riders will stick to the roads while at the same time venturing off into some fun play areas along the way. This ride is great for every experience level. This ride can be done in 1 day or overnight with a stay at the Bralorne Mine Shaft Hotel included.
