Dine Outdoors in Style With Araxi's Annual Longtable Dinner
It's Nearly Time for the Araxi Longtable Dinner
Join award-winning Executive Chef James Walt as he crafts and serves a four-course menu that showcase his internationally recognized farm-to-table dishes. You'll arrive to see the longest table staged to date, as you taste canapés and a Pemberton Distillery cocktail before being seated alongside new old friends at the longtable on Pemberton's North Arm Farm.
Meet the Farmers
This year, as always, Chef Walt's menu embraces the extraordinary local ingredients, harvested at the peak of the season, and guests will have the opportunity to meet the farmers and suppliers, and tour the organic fields where, just hours before, farmers pick the produce next to the outdoor kitchen.
Pemberton is home to some of the best farm to table food in Canada at the moment, and events like this one highlight what we have always known: You don't ned fancy overwrought over styled food. If it's been picked hours before, the simple goodness shines through.A Foodie Tradition.
Sit With New Old Friends
This traditional dinner allows strangers to become long lost friends as they sit together, breaking bread and sharing an organic, farm to table meal paired with exquisite British Columbia wines. This year, the wine pairings by Samantha Rahn, 2013 Sommelier of the Year include Le Vieux Pin and LaStella.
The evening's service is orchestrated by renowned Restaurant Director Neil Henderson, and the Longtable Dinners salute both Araxi's culinary provenance and it's future.
Long Summer Nights
The dinner takes place over the September long weekend, so we hope you'll make a weekend vacation out of this dinner and stay with us for awhile before and after. The long days of summer will soon be coming to an end, so taking the time to enjoy an outdoor meal while it's still the season to do this is one of British Columbia's best rural gifts.
Afterward, create a memorable stay with us and take advantage of the pool and hot tub, and perhaps a massage as well. You'll be glad you did.
Tickets are just $159 plus tax and gratuity, The Longtable Dinners sell out quickly; Tickets are available for purchase online or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
