The annual Whistler Writer's Festival has returned! The 4-day celebration of the literary arts begins this Thursday!
The Whistler Writer's Festival provides a forum for local writers to develop their craft within the community and network with other aspiring authors! If that sounds like you, you won't want to miss this!
Now in it's 15th year, the festival sets out to both entertain and educate. With over 60 acclaimed authors planned to attend this year, the festival brings together the very best Canadian and international authors for a weekend packed with readings, workshops, speaker panels, spoken word events, music, and more. For readers and writers alike, the festival highlights leading Canadian authors and showcases a series of workshops.
Fungus Among Us Mushroom Festival
It's mushroom season! Everybody's favourite forest scavenging pass-time has returned. This Friday October 14th, the annual Fungus Among Us Festival returns. It includes a foraging session in and around Whistler forests and many displays of various mushroom varieties. Enjoy talks with mushroom gurus, gourmet tastings, mushroom walks, and much more!
