20th Annual Cornucopia This November

Thanksgiving has come and gone but the season for indulgence hasn't ended yet! Come discover the best food and drink from BC and beyond at the annual Whistler Cornucopia, an 11-day fall festival celebrating fine dining and inebriants, held this November 10th to 20th.

Whistler Cornucopia Pouring Wine

This year marks the event's 20th anniversary and will be the premiere for two exciting new events, The Cornucopia Wine Summit and Cornucopia Kids! You'll definitely wanna check out the events this year.

Every day of Whistler Cornucopia is filled with an abundance of events that run from morning until late into the evening, ranging from the educational to the adventurous to those that simply encourage indulgence and having a very good time. A night out filled with delicious food and drinks, good company and dancing is a fine thing indeed, and in Whistler we're definitely not above trading hiking boots for high heels after the sun goes down.

Find an overview of some events below, or browse the full event list and purchase tickets on the festival website.

With such a diverse array of events on the table, the key to enjoying Cornucopia is finding what piques your palate.

Of all the events on the calendar, the signature tastings are the most popular. Held under the attractive wooden beams of the Whistler Conference Centre, each evening has a different focus - wine, international flavours, spirits, beer, the best of British Columbia. Tasting stations manned by people passionate about their products encouraging mingling and exploration while music and DJs create a party atmosphere, making these events ideal for large groups of friends. Check out all the Signature tastings here.

Whistler Cornucopia Meal Service

It's not all mix-and-mingle at Cornucopia. Both the Chef's Table Luncheons and the Dinners offer opportunities to explore new tastes and speak with the tastemakers - vintners, distillers and chefs - in far more intimate settings. Hosted in Whistler's top restaurants and private mansions, expect excellent company and memorable menus. Be sure to explore all the lunch and dinner options.

One of the best things about Cornucopia is the chance to learn more about the world of food and drink - this festival isn't just about consuming, it's about choices and creativity too. Food sources and trends, the latest techniques in preparation and plating are all discussed. While smaller tasting events dedicated to specialty spirits from a particular region allow you to explore your palate under the guidance of industry professionals.

After the sun sets, it's all about the after parties. Champagne, martinis, wine mixers and silent discos, this is where you can really let your hair down and dance the night away. Head over to the Cornucopia website for the full list of evening events.

Cornucopia is back and we couldn't be any more excited! And we know you are to! Book your accommodation now so you can start planning your 11-days of indulgence!
