Try Snowmobiling with the Family!
Pemberton - Sledding Country for the Family
Join us at Big Sky Golf Course on February 8th for the Pemberton Valley Snowmobile Club Sledding Family Fun Day. It's winter and Pemberton as usual plays host to a wonderland of activities. Snowmobiling is among the many sports Pemberton is famous for, and this February 8th, it's time to come down to the Big Sky Golf Course, have some fun and show your appreciation for this wonderful sport.
The trails this year have been spectacular, as the She Shreds site can attest with their weekly Ride Report. This week was a bit of a blast of freezing temperatures and icy winds, but all-in-all, the season has been awesome, with lots of great rides taken and more great ones to come.
Pemberton Loves Snowmobiles
From 11:00 to 3:00, come on by for the all day barbecue as well as ATV rides, snowmobile rides, and side-by-side rides. The day is open to everyone, but it is a fundraising event for the Pemberton Valley Snowmobiling Club, so make sure you are ready to support the club if you attend.
Want to Try Snowmobiling?
Take a look at She Shreds website for lots of information on the sport and how to get started. There's a wealth of information there, including the Ride Reports mentioned above, as well as clinics, courses, information about lodging in the area (Pemberton Valley Lodge is a great choice, considered "snowmobile friendly") and more.
Join in the Fun
The event takes place on Family Day, making it a great way to celebrate family and have some fun together. Snowmobiling is a great family activity, and if you have never tried it or have questions about how you might be able to start, make sure to come out to this event to learn more and ask all the questions you've always wanted to ask.
Snowmobiling in Pemberton
Pemberton loves snowmobiling for good reason. The Pemberton Ice Cap is some of the best snowmobiling in the world, and people flock here just for the chance to get out and sled on the Ice Cap. We live in one of the most pristine backcountry environments in the world, with a very supportive snowmobiling community that loves to get people started and share what they know.
Have some fun with your family this Family Day learning about this great sport. See you soon!
