T-Minus One Month Until Pemberton Music Festival
First things first: the camping is sold out. But tickets to Pemberton Music Festival are on sale and there is still time to get in on the best little big music festival in ... well ... easily in British Columbia this summer. And possibly further afield. In its third year, the Pemberton Music Festival has all the things dialed in: Great line up, logistics nailed, fantastic venue, and fabulous community support.
Time to Get Ready for Pemberton Music Festival
Hopefully you've sorted out all the details for this year's festivities. If not, though, there's still time: you can't camp on site anymore but we think that staying in local Pemberton hotels is a fabulous idea. And why not? You get all the benefits of the festival combined with a comfy bed at night.
And if you have a hankering to help out, there are extra options just for you: volunteerism is alive and well at the Pemberton Music Festival. In return for your loyal service, you can receive awesome perks. The options for volunteering and getting involved in the festival consist of three main streams of service:
- Be a Camp Ambassador
- Be a Volunteer
- Be a Vendor
Camp Ambassador
If you think wearing a sheriff's badge and enthusiastically helping out your fellow campers have a great time, you might want to become a Camp Ambassador. Here's what you get:
- A Free Festival Ticket + Camping to Pemby Fest
- Free Camping Ambassador T-shirt
- Sheriff "Badge"
- Bragging Rights as Sheriff of your assigned Campground
According to the Pemberton Music Festival website, you also get "much more!" which is a kind of cool surprise extra. Who knows? In any case, the application is available online, so if you're interested in free stuff (including a free ticket + free camping!) apply today.
Volunteer
The Pemberton Music Festival is currently accepting applications for volunteers for the post-show clean up. Volunteers need to put in about 18 hours of work, get to stay in a volunteers campground, and can request to work during their favourite performances.
Here's what you get:
- a full event pass
- an event t-shirt (supplies limiting)
- a camp space in volunteer camping
- amazing behind-the-scenes experience
You must be 18 years old or older to apply, but once you go through the online application process, you're on your way to a great - free - way to see PembyFest.
For full details (because there are a lot of them) check out the FAQ page about volunteering.
Vendors
We'll just add this on as well. The deadline was May 19th, but applications are still available with a 5% surcharge on the fees. Make sure to read the entire document for full details on what is required to be either a food vendor or a craft vendor at the festival this year.
This option allows you the chance to feed the best fans in the entire world...or sell them your crafts, if that is your wont. You get to experience the festival and make some money while you're at it. What could be better than that?
Are You All-In?
This year's festival promises to be an electrifying tribute to all that summer music festivals should be. Grab your tickets if you haven't yet already done so and, if you're really motivated, get involved.
