PACC Organizes the First Arts and Garden Festival
Have you ever wanted to tour some of the most beautiful gardens from Pemberton to D'arcy? Well look no further because the Pemberton Arts and Culture Council's (PACC) inaugural Art and Garden Festival is set to take place on July 30 and July 31.
The Art and Garden Festival will guide people around local gardens and artist studios. You will need to drive (or carpool if you're really cool) to reach different stops along the way. However, everyone on the tour will visit the same location at the same time with stops for lunch and other creative opportunities. Each day of the festival you will visit different gardens and artist studios.
Participants in the tour will meet at 9:45am on July 30 at the Downtown Pemberton Community Barn. The Saturday tour will take place around the Pemberton Meadows and feature events such as fashion show with local art on display.
Then on July 31 the tour will begin at Our Glass Works in Birken, which will start off the day of Birken-area garden touring. Sunday will also feature a lunch at the Mute Raven Studio where First Nations art will be on display.
There will be many other opportunities for guests including; a chance to visit Karen Love's studio, create beeswax postcards, see Susie Cipollo's art in a field, and check out Valerie Butters' studio.
Oh and did we forget to mention that all of the art will be available to purchase!
Get your tickets now because they're sure to go fast.
Tickets are $15 per day or $25 with a catered lunch. PACC members can receive a 10% discount.
The tours will run from 10am until 4pm on Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 31.
