September Welcomes Endurance Events to the Sea-to-Sky Corridor
Wanna race? Well this September is perfect for you then! There's tons of marathon events coming to the Sea-to-Sky Corridor this month and with the weather finally cooling down, it's a great time to start thinking about those long autumn jogs. From Pemberton's Barn Burner Triple to Mudderella Whistler September brings a variety of outdoor running, hiking, and endurance activities.
RBC GranFondo Whistler
Saturday September 10th
The RBC GranFondo returns to the Sea-to-Sky Corridor! For one day, Highway 99 the best possible cycling road, is closed to traffic and turned into 122 km bike riding challenge from Vancouver to Whistler.
Before you is an epic route with challenging climbs and thrilling descents. All you have to do is concentrate on the beauty around you. You're feeling fit and you're lined up for a huge ride with thousands of your fellow cyclists. You can ride whatever pace you want, it's not a race so there's no pressure. And no matter what pace you choose, you're likely to be riding alongside some of the thousand so participants.
The scenery is better than you could ever see in a magazine. Plus as an added bonus, the ride ends with a massage and a party, where everyone's invited. This is an amazing opportunity to check out the stunning scenery of the Sea-to-Sky Corridor at a leisurely rate!

Barn Burner Triple Race
Saturday September 17th
Pemberton's favorite running race, the Barn Burner Triple, returns on the 17th.
Participants can choose between three distances including 10 km, 15 km or 25 km of Pemberton's best backcountry trails. You can run the event by yourself or grab two friends and be part of a 3 lap team relay. Races start at the Downtown Barn in Pemberton Village and wind their way through the One Mile Lake trail system.

Sea-to-Sky Gondola's Hike Fest
Sunday September 18th
Big fan of hikes? Go celebrate all things hiking at the Sea-to-Sky Gondola's Hike Fest! With plenty of things to do including; free guided hikes, backcountry education, fun, and educational family activities Hike Fest is going to be a busy day. Go learn some valuable hiking and safety information! Even bring the kids along because there will be tons of fun kids activities.

Mudderella Whistler
Saturday September 24th
The 8-11 kilometre mud puddle obstacle course created for women, by women is back in Whistler. Mudderella Whistler 2016 event series features challenging new obstacles and even more opportunities to work together. Whistler's world-famous Blackcomb Mountain serves up some of the most breathtaking views. This is the ultimate outdoor-lovers weekend getaway. At the end of the day enjoy some much deserved adult beverages in the heart of Whistler Village.
