Halloween in Pemberton: Pumpkins, Parties, and More

October is a time of change in Pemberton, leaves turn orange, temperatures drop, and Halloween decorations start to show up. Usually embraced heavily by locals, Halloween in Pemberton is one howling good time. With pumpkin patch trips, trick or treating paradise, costume parties, and fireworks, Pemberton really lights up for Halloween celebrations. If you're unfamiliar with the things to do in Pemberton for Halloween this October, check out some of your options below!

Pemberton October Pumpkin Wagon Rides

Pumpkin Patch & Wagon Rides

One of the many great things about Halloween is carving a Jack-O-Lantern! Get into the spirit of Halloween by browsing the pumpkin patch at North Arm Farms. You can bring the family out for a weekend wagon ride and grab yourself some pumpkins to carve at home. The pumpkin patch is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm, and wagon rides are happening on weekends until the end of October.

Halloween at the Museum Pemberton

Halloween at the Museum

Bring the kids out to the Pemberton Museum on Saturday afternoon to enjoy some terrific Halloween activities and family fun. Children can participate in many activities including a scavenger hunt, a spooky schoolhouse, and more. Don't forget to dress up because there will be prizes for the best costumes in different age groups. You also have the chance to bring an already carved Jack-O-Lantern to the judges for another chance at prizes. Jack-O-Lanterns will be judged at 2:30 pm, while the event goes from 12 to 3 pm on October 28th.

Trick or Treating

It's just not Halloween without a little trick or treating, and Pemberton is the perfect place for it. You'll see lots of decorations and costumes out on Halloween night as the community embraces the spirit of October 31st. If you're new to Pemberton's trick or treating scene, you'll want to start at The Glen. This child-friendly area is always alive with groups of costumed kids and parents heading from door to door collecting candy. The Glen offers a full night of trick or treating all in one area because almost every house in the neighbourhood joins in on the Halloween spirit. Pemberton is the place to be if you're looking for a good ol' fashioned night of trick or treating.

Halloween Fireworks Pemberton

Fireworks at Signal Hill Elementary

Once trick or treating is over, you can head over to the Signal Hill Elementary School field for a fireworks show! Join in on the spectacle with most of the community, usually between 8 - 8:30 pm on October 31st. Watching fireworks with friends is the perfect way to wrap up a great Halloween and October.

Pem Ho Halloween Bash

Halloween doesn't just have to be fun for the kids either. On October 28th, head to the Pemberton Hotel for a night of costumed fun. Enjoy the hard-rockin' music of Blame the Weekend live as you monster mash the night away. $10 tickets and doors are at 9:30 pm, plus there will be prizes for best costume!
