The snow has started to dust the mountain tops in Whistler and Pemberton, creating excitement for the opening day of ski season on Whistler Blackcomb on November 23, 2017. With the opening weekend of the mountain about a month away, there are still lots of things happening in Whistler to keep you busy while you wait.
This November 9th to 19th, Cornucopia returns to Whistler for an 11-day celebration of food and drinks. This will be the 21st consecutive year of the widely popular event happening in Whistler. There's something for everybody to indulge in during Cornucopia, you can choose from a vast array of food and drink events and activities going on throughout the week. The diverse schedule of Cornucopia makes sure you can enjoy amazing food, great entertainment, and sip quality spirits, beer, and wine at every turn.
Whistler's Cornucopia is always growing in popularity, and many of the events will sell out, so it's important to get your tickets quickly! Have you always dreamed of becoming a sommelier or gaining expert certification? If you have, this is the course for you. WSET Level 1 is perfect for any amateur winemaker or collector and is held over the first two days of Cornucopia. WSET Level 2 starts on Monday, November 13th.
