Winter Art Events in Pemberton & Whistler to Check Out
Temperatures are colder, snow is falling, and winter is here in the Sea to Sky Corridor. Ski and snowboard season has arrived as Whistler mountain opens today, five days earlier than expected. These amazing early season snow conditions are definitely something you'll want to take advantage of but there are also a few events off the mountain that you should look out for as well.
Winter isn't only a time for skiing and snowboarding, it's also a wonderful season to hold arts and culture events! Luckily for us, there are a bunch of opportunities to get involved in the local artisan community or just pick yourself up a gift for the holidays at one of the many art events in the corridor.
Mountains of Art | Nov. 25
Come out for a night celebrating art in the mountains at Mountains of Art. This gala event will be showcasing local artists and their art, inspired by life in Pemberton and the Sea to Sky Corridor. Mountains of Art will feature a silent auction, music, artworks for sale and delicious food and desserts. Grab your tickets at the Pemberton Arts Council website or visit the Pemberton Scotia Bank or Pemberton Valley Supermarket to pick up a hard copy.
