Merry Christmas & Happy New Year’s from The Lodge
The lights are lit, the snow is falling, and Christmas is about to happen in Pemberton and Whistler. There are a number of family friendly events going on over Christmas and New Year's Eve, here in the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, that welcomes residents and visitors to celebrate the holidays this season.
Whistler Holiday Experience
When it comes to family-friendly New Year's events, Whistler Holiday Experience really leads the pack. One of the best events in the Corridor is hosted in Whistler Village at two different venues within walking distance of each other! Spend some time at the Whistler Conference Centre where kids can choose from a number of different indoor activities, including bouncy castles, arts & crafts, and much more. The other venue is the Arts Centre , where all 3 floors will be wrapped in Christmas cheer and kids can let their creativity flow with a variety of creative entertainment such as, arts and crafts, face painting, balloon twisting, children's dance party, and arcade games. You can learn much more about the Whistler Holiday Experience on the Whistler Tourism website.
Fire & Ice Show - Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve
This year, the Fire & Ice Show returns to Whistler just in time to celebrate Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve! This spectacular show of high-flying action and fireworks is a great way to spend your Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve. Bring the whole family out for these nights of fire and fun. The Fire & Ice Show also occurs on every Sunday of the winter season until the end of March 2018. So even if you can't make it this week, pencil it in for later on!
New Year's Eve Winterfest Celebration
Stay in Pemberton for New Year's Eve and enjoy a day full of outdoor activities, fireworks, and more. Pemberton's Winterfest is a celebration of the natural beauty of Pemberton in the winter. Head to the Pemberton Community Centre on December 31st with the whole family to join in on the fun. There will be fire pits, hot dogs, a family dance party, and more. If the weather stays cold, there may also be skating and other outdoor recreations at One Mile Lake during the day! Head over to our previous blog post to learn much more about Pemberton's New Year's Eve Winterfest.
We'd like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We hope you've had a joyous 2017 and we can't wait to see you in the new year!
