WSSF Adds More Artists To Free Concert Series
As you may have heard by now, the World Ski & Snowboard Festival is returning to Whistler on April 7th, 2017. There's going to be lots of fun events going on in the village for the week of the festival. One of the most highly anticipated parts of WSSF every year is the FIDO Free Outdoor Concert Series. These outdoor concerts, thrown at Skier's Plaza, have been a hit among locals and visitors who attend. Each year they bring amazing Canadian and international musical talent to rock the Main Stage for FREE!
That's right, these concerts are all free, so you have pretty much no excuse for not making it out to at least one of the shows. Plus, the artists they have playing this year are so good that I probably don't need to be trying to convince you.

Scar Wars - Roller Derby
Another fan favourite of WSSF is roller derby! For the fifth consecutive year, WSSF is hosting Scar Wars, an invitational roller derby bout set to take place on April 8th at the Whistler Conference Centre. Scar Wars is going to be the first invitation roller derby at WSSF to host both a women's and a men's bout.
For much more on Scar Wars information visit WSSF.com and check out the video about roller derby above!
Or if you're looking to get tickets to Scar Wars they're available now to buy on the World Ski & Snowboard Festival website . General admission is $15, with ringside seats available for spectators 19+ for $25. The annual bout is a fundraiser for the Sea to Sky roller derby teams, helping them fund team travel, training and gear.
