PVL Takes Part In Earth Hour 2017
Once again this Saturday night, March 25th, 2017 at 8:30pm local time, the Pemberton Valley Lodge will be turning off our lights for a full hour to take part in Earth Hour 2017.
WFF's Earth Hour has been recognized all around the world and helps bringing together millions of people together to promote conservation of our planet.
Earth Hour is intended for everyone involved to help make a difference in our communities, so people are encouraged to make helpful changes in their lifestyle and use fewer resources going forward.
Some easily made changes we can start to us in our new lifestyles can be something as small as bringing our own bags to the supermarket or as big as parking the car and taking public transport.
If you would like to learn more about earth hour we suggest you check out the official website, EarthHour.org!
The Pemberton Valley Lodge is a proud sponsor of Earth Day and encourages everyone in Pemberton to do their part this Saturday.
The Lodge has always put a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability which includes purchasing our power from a renewable energy company - Bullfrog Power - installing new power saving thermostats, and hotel-wide recycling programs!
Please join the us, Pemberton Valley Lodge, and the millions of others around the world this Saturday, March 19 for Earth Hour from 8:30 - 9:30pm.
