State Of The ART Is Set To Open On April 7th
Sports aren't the only thing happening for the World Ski & Snowboard Festival. There are plenty of wonderful art and entertainment events happening as well. One highlight is going to be the State of the ART exhibition set up in the Whistler Conference Centre.
State of the ART Opening Party
On Friday, April 7 at 8 PM to midnight, come and witness the opening of this community gallery project. This is not a paint-inside-the-lines event, there are no rules when it comes to art here. Anti-movements, counter-culture, and sub-cultures are celebrated and portrayed in various different bold and thought-provoking mediums. Artists have been invited to come from all over the globe to come together and create a community of urban street mixed with snow ingenuity, to push the boundaries of the 'State of the ART'.
Did we forget to mention that there's no entry fee for this event? It's free to the public!
From April 8th - 14th between the hours of 12PM - 6PM, you can stroll around the Grand Foyer of the Whistler Conference Centre and immerse yourself in the wonderful artistic talent that has gathered in Whistler for WSSF. Mingle with artists and creative people alike, and maybe even pick yourself out a one-of-a-kind art piece.
Take a look at the State of the Art online store to get a feel for the event and buy artwork right now!
