Pemberton Barn Dance Is Back For 2017!
The Pemberton Barn Dance is back again this Saturday, June 17th, 2017! Come out to downtown Pemberton and join in on the party happening from 7pm to 11pm at the Community Barn.
You can pick up tickets for the 2017 Pemberton Barn Dance at the Pemberton Valley Supermarket, Mount Currie Coffee, AC Gas, or Coast Mountain Brewery. It's only $20 bucks for this annual 19+ event.
This year DJ Rich-A & Marble Canyon are set to rock the party and get everybody moving. Plus, with Coast Mountain Brewing providing the beverages you know it's going to be a good Saturday night in Pemberton. Dance, drink, AND eat - There will be food prepared by Mike Richman available for people to buy.
Funds raised at the Pemberton Community Barn will go towards the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research and the Pemberton Refugee Resettlement Group.
What Is The Pemberton Barn Dance?
The Pemberton Barn Dance is a fundraising event for multiple community projects in Pemberton. Originally it was started to raise funds for the Pemberton Chamber of Commerce and restore it to being a service for small businesses in the community. The Barn Dance was a successful hit among locals and visitors.
Every year it would get bigger and draw more attention from police. Venues changed a few times but after 13 years it took a 3 year break and returned to it's now home - Pemberton Community Barn - in 2015. 2 years later and here we are. The Pemberton Barn Dance is here again and it's looking to claim a place as a destination event for people throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor.
