2017 was a big year for Whistler Blackcomb with Vail Resorts taking over and plenty of updates and renovations planned for the future. Last year, we also saw a bunch of great ski and snowboard movies come out with Whistler Blackcomb as the backdrop. If you haven't had a chance to watch these ski movies yet, now is your chance! Magnetic: A Whistler Blackcomb Movie
Magnetic is the first-ever, full-length, ski and snowboard movie filmed completely within one ski area! This wonderful showcase of Whistler Blackcomb, filmed last year, is entirely shot in areas accessible with a lift ticket. Farm to Table: A Curtis Ciszek and Iikka Backstrom Movie
Hailed as "the chillest snowboard movie you'll watch all year", Farm to Table is fun, carefree, and full of hijinks. Filmed in the backcountry of Oregon, Whistler, and B.C.'s interior, Curtis Ciszek and Iikka Backstrom show us just how much fun you can have in the mountains with friends. Coming in at just under 15 minutes with a soundtrack ranging from Social Distortion and Young Jeezy, to Tina Turner and Elvis, Farm to Table is a raw portrayal of two friends who just love the sport. The film also features Austin Smith, Jared Elston, Bryan Fox, Tyler Orton, Ben Ferguson, Jake Price, Devun Walsh, Mark McMorris, Blake Paul, and more.
