Visit the Pemberton Library
Autumn is the perfect season to curl up with a good book and a cosy blanket. As the weather starts to cool and winter approaches, reading is a great way to pass the time before ski and snowboard season arrives, and where better to find books than the library!
The Pemberton & District Public Library is home to thousands of great books to choose from and lots of fun events too. Every month the Pemberton Library hosts a variety of different activities and events perfect for children and families.
While the library's event calendar is always being updated, there are lots of reoccurring weekly and monthly events, such as:
Movie Nights - Join in a monthly movie screening shown in the library. October's movie is SOLO: A Star Wars Story. The show starts at 7 pm.
Baby Storytime - Parents and babies will enjoy learning new rhymes and singing songs at this weekly drop-in program for babies 0 to 18 months.
Family Storytime - Listen to stories and sing songs. This weekly activity is for children 18 months and older.
Maker Mondays - Kids can learn how to make their own LEGO stop-motion movies.
Pemberton & District Public Library also hosts lots of special events including an upcoming Oktober Fest celebration with locally brewed beer & spirits, live music, and bratwurst! Don't miss out on the good times this October 13th, 2018.
The best way to stay up-to-date with all the things happening at the library is to check out the Pemberton & District Public Library events calendar.
If you're a real bookworm, don't forget to check out the incredible Whistler Writers Festival this October 11-14, 2018. Celebrate the written word at this 5-day festival with speaker panels, workshops, readings, dinners, and much more.
