Celebrate Canada Day in Pemberton
It's only a couple weeks away from Canada Day and where better to celebrate than beautiful Pemberton, British Columbia! On Sunday, July 1st, 2018, come celebrate Canada Day with a variety of family friendly events and activities planned for the day. This year, the Canada Day celebrations include the Canada Day Parade, the Spud Run, a Community Market, and much more fun family activities.
Spud Run
Get up early and participate in the annual Spud Run on July 1st. Choose from a 3 km or 10 km course to test your endurance. Registration is at 8am at the Pemberton Community Centre with the run starting half an hour later at 8:30am. Learn more about the Pemberton Spud Run on their Facebook page.
Canada Day Parade
Are you a small local business or organization who wants to be part of the parade? Register your parade vehicle at the Pemberton Community Barn at 8am to be part of the celebrations. The parade starts at 10 am in town and winds its way to the Pemberton Community Centre to start the fun at 11am.
Celebration & Community Market
After the parade you can enjoy some family fun on the Pemberton Community Centre lawn from 11am to 2pm. Join locals and visitors for an afternoon that includes live performances, arts and crafts, face painting, food, drinks, prizes, and a whole bunch more. There will also be a Community Market happening at the Community Centre during the celebration hours. Don't miss out on celebrating Canada Day 2018 in Pemberton!
