Here's how it works!
If skydiving is something you've never done but always wanted to try, then there is no better place to do it than Pemberton. Along with the beautiful views local company, Whistler Skydiving provides world-class instruction.
If this is your first time skydiving then you will be required to jump with an instructor as a tandem pair. Tandem jumping requires the client to be attached to the instructor's chests while still allowing for an unobstructed view of the surrounding areas. A tandem jump costs $289 and provides you with everything necessary to make the jump.
If you are a licensed skydiver you can get on an outgoing flight provided there is room for only $35. This of course only covers your flight you will be held responsible for bringing and packing your own shoot.
Once you are all set to go you will board a plane taking you to an altitude of 10'500 feet. This is jumping height and from here you and your instructor will leave the plane experiencing around 45 seconds of freefall before your pull your parachute. After the chute has been pulled you will slowly descend to the valley floor for approximately 5 minutes before safe landing on the valley floor.
