Celebrate Craft Brewing at the Whistler Beer Festival
It's been another hot summer in the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, and it doesn't seem to be cooling down anytime soon. If you've been spending any time in Pemberton or Whistler during this heatwave, we hope you've visited one of the many refreshing lakes and rivers in the area.
However, if all this warmth still has you parched, there's another thirst-quenching event you should be looking out for - the Whistler Village Beer Festival. Coming up this September 11th to 16th, 2018, grab your friends and beat the heat with a frosty cold one at Whistler's annual craft beer festival. Packed with six-days of events and activities, this is one craft beer festival you don't want to miss.
The Whistler Village Beer Festival features a two-day tasting event right in Whistler Olympic Plaza and tons of other activities including cask nights, beer night, food tastings, and more throughout the week. Mingle with fellow brewers and beer surrounded by the stunning Coast Mountians.
Break out the coasters and beer goggles because the Whistler Village Beer Festival is your opportunity to sample from over 120 beers and ciders. 60 of the best breweries in British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest will be serving up an abundance of delicious lager, pale ale, cider, kölsch, pilsner, stout, and more tasty amber liquids.
The Main Event of the festival, on Saturday and Sunday, is a two-day tasting event accompanied by great company, live music, good food, and lots of beers. The rest of the six-day festival is packed with industry events, special dinners, and cask nights that explore unique spaces in the brewing community.
There's also a bunch of other activities you can find in Whistler running tandem with the festival. You can find tickets to the festival and events on the official Whistler Village Beer Festival website.
