Pemberton Valley Lodge is Recognized for Accessibility
We are pleased to announce that Pemberton Valley Lodge has achieved a Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification!
Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification
The Rick Hansen Foundation rates and certifies sites on their level of meaningful access for people with physical disabilities, and provides a roadmap on areas of improvement. With one in five Canadians identifying as having a disability, accessibility is more important than ever.
For us, achieving this certification is a testament to our commitment to creating inclusive and welcoming environments for everyone, everywhere.
The Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification program works to help improve the accessibility of buildings and the urban environment of the places where we work, live, and play in Canada.
No matter what the cause of disability, the truth is that each of us will experience disability at some point in our lives. Making our communities accessible to those with disabilities is an important thing that we can do to help us continue to participate and live to our full potential.
Share your commitment to accessibility and your belief in #EveryoneEverywhere, a national campaign about maximizing the potential of all through physical freedom.
