Raven Backcountry Festival
Pemberton’s newest festival is coming in 2020!
Raven Backcountry Festival is set for February 7th and 8th in the new year. This 2 day event focuses on backcountry skiing, snowboarding, split boarding, and snowmobiling clinics in Pemberton.
The inaugural weekend of the festival includes social events on Friday and Saturday nights. Plus, a day full of clinics that will help participants get into the heart of Pemberton’s big mountain terrain.
Throughout the weekend of the Raven Backcountry Festival, funds will be raised for the Lisa Korthals Memorial bursary; which helps educate aspiring female backcountry guides.

About the Fundraiser
The Lisa Korthals Memorial Bursary is designed to create a living legacy to the memory of Lisa Korthals. It is intended to create a bursary to be used by women to help them get a start in their Mechanized Ski Guiding career and is awarded annually.
Lisa was a towering member of the Pemberton backcountry skiing community and we are thrilled to be raising funds, in her memory, that will help the career of a new female ski guide.
You can learn more about the Raven Backcountry Festival by visiting Tourism Pemberton. We hope to see you there!
