Watch the Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Championships in Whistler
BMW IBSF Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Championships
February 25 - March 10, 2019
Whistler, British Columbia, Canada is the proud host of the 2019 BMW IBSF World Championships this February 25th to March 10th.
Come out to the Whistler Sliding Centre and watch the fastest athletes on ice hit speeds of up to 150 km/hour. The over 250 of the world's best skeleton and bobsleigh athletes gather to compete in the most prestigious bobsleigh and skeleton event outside of the Olympics.
Athletes from more than 35 countries will slide down the 16-corner icy chute on Blackcomb Mountain to see who gets the title of champion.
You can watch the event trackside as athletes fly by at top speeds down the world-renowned Whistler Sliding Centre. Throughout the two week event, training will be on weekdays with race days on weekend; March 1st - 3rd and March 7th - 9th.
During competitions, there will be nightly entertainment, beer gardens, food, and other amazing activities that you and the whole family can enjoy.

Whistler Sliding Centre Events
The Whistler Sliding Centre also hosts lots of other great sliding competitions during the winter months. From the Junior Canadian Luge Championships to the BC Provincial Championships for Bobsleigh & Skeleton.
