Get Ready for Pemberton Slow Food Cycle 2019
Enjoy a beautiful bike ride up the Pemberton Meadows during the 2019 Pemberton Slow Food Cycle. This is the perfect chance for locals and visitors to connect with the farming community by purchasing farm fresh produce, baked treats & much more.
Slow Food Cycle Sunday is a 40km cycle up and down Pemberton Meadows Road. Choose your own pace and do as much or as little of the route as you like.

Started back in 2004, the Pemberton Slow Food Cycle was introduced as a way to introduce locals & visiting guests with farmers in the Valley. Today, the event has become a beautiful showcase of sustainable farming in Pemberton, attracting 2000 - 4000 people every year.

Date & Time: Sunday, August 18th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (9 am-10 am and after 3 pm the road will be shared by vehicle traffic and bike traffic.
Starting Place: Pemberton Meadows Road at the Meadows Fields (Old Pemberton Community Centre). Head north-west out of Pemberton and look for a school bus garage and sports fields about a kilometre out of town.
Price: $5/adult | $20/family (up to 6 members) | children 5 or under are free!
Meadows Road Closures: Once again this year, the Pemberton Meadows Road will be closed to vehicle traffic from 10 am – 3 pm on Sunday, August 18.
After 3 pm the road will be shared by vehicle traffic and bike traffic with the speed limit reduced to 30 km/hr.
Once you’re done your cycle you may want to cool down at one of the lakes surrounding the Pemberton area!
