As the weather warms, we simply can’t help but be excited for summer to begin in Pemberton.
The days are getting longer and we’re ready to get back outdoors again. You can feel spring in the air and it’s only a matter of time before we can be hanging out at the lakes and rivers again.

Mountain Biking
The mountain biking trails in Pemberton generally open much earlier than Whistler, making it the perfect place to start your season. Hiking
There may still be snow in the alpine, but there’s still some great hiking trails in the Pemberton Valley. A couple popular trails in early spring are the easy hike to Nairn Falls and the boardwalk loop around One Mile Lake.
Fishing
Fishing in the Pemberton area is some of the best in Canada. It offers outstanding rivers, lakes, and high alpine lake fishing. An all year round activity in Pemberton, spring is a great time to try out fly fishing!
Horseback Riding
Explore the beautiful Pemberton Valley on one of the many horseback riding trails. You can take a ride along the Lillooet River or traverse mountain trails on a guided tour. Horseback tours are available for all ages and skill levels from a number of outfitters in the valley.

Pemberton is home to the “Best Course in BC", as voted by the Vancouver Sun Golf Guide. Big Sky Golf and Country Club is a stunning 18-hole course nestled at the base of Mount Currie.
