3 Exciting New Additions to Pemberton
Ice Cream, Art, and Puppies – What more could you want?
Pemberton Haven Ice Cream
With 8 delicious ‘Made in BC’ ice creams waiting for you at all times, it will be hard to talk yourself out of ordering a double cone, and hey why not have it in a waffle cone – indulge! There is often a vegan plant-based option as well.
Check out @pembertonhavenicecream on Instagram for flavour updates. They are always looking for new flavour suggestions as well!
Located at 1394 Portage Road in Pemberton, this funky little Ice Cream Trailer is packed with delicious treats that draw a crowd. Enjoy your cone on one of their picnic tables with views of community garden boxes backed by majestic mountains or take a stroll down the street and explore the heart of Pemberton.
Pemberton Haven Ice Cream believes in giving back and supporting the community they operate in – which is why one day each month 100% of the proceeds of all sales will be donated to a specific organization or charity in Pemberton and the surrounding area. Since they have opened they have donated to the Pemberton Food Bank and the Pemberton Local Fire Rescue. Be sure to follow them on Instagram to be notified of which days support community partners.
The Ice Cream Trailer is open in the afternoons, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and closes early on rainy days. Check pembertonhavenicecream.ca for specific hours.
Pemberton Artists Collective
Speaking of strolling down the street and giving back to the community, once you have your ice cream fix be sure to check out The Pemberton Collective a few doors down. The eclectic new retail space created for local sea to sky vendors and creators in Pemberton features a variety of products from jewelry, skincare products, homewares, and photography to name a few.
In the back of the shop, you’ll find Wishbone Kids Collective offering carefully curated consignment baby and toddler clothing.
Come check it out Thursday to Sunday 11 am - 5 pm at 1384 Portage Road.
Village of Pemberton Dog Park
After you’ve had a sweet treat and perhaps indulged in a little retail therapy supporting local artists it’s time for your pup to let off a little steam.
Check out the Pemberton Dog Park, located behind the Pemberton BMX track with parking in the Community Centre Parking lot off of Cottonwood Street (or within walking distance of the ice cream trailer, artists collective, and the lodge).
The park is a mixture of sand and grass which is fully fenced with two double-gated entryways. There are waste bags and garbage can on site.
